FLIP DOWN SIGNS

The Township has installed flip-down stop signs at various signalized intersections in the area. These signs will be utilized as needed when there is a power outage. Please remember to treat these intersections as a multi-way stop and drive safe.

FALL 2010 CHIPPING PROGRAM

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Starting September 2nd. Tuesday's and Thursday's thru November 4th.

Appointment must be made by October 8th. This is a first come, first serve basis. For information, please call 610-384-0600.

This program is for routine clean-up of trees and shrubs, not for the purpose of cutting down trees, shrubs, or brush. No limbs greater than an 8 inch diameter will be taken. No vines, weeds, or leaves will be collected. This is a free service, but YOU MUST SIGN UP early. No property will be serviced without an appointment. NO EXCEPTIONS.

LEAF COLLECTION

Leaf collection will begin the week of October 18, 2010. All leaves must be in a brown paper leaf bags. Bags can be purchased at local hardware stores or at Caln Township building.

Leaf Bag Pick-up is:

October 18th

November 1st

November 29th.

Curb pick-up along Wedgewood Drive only

October 25th and November 8th. All leaves must be raked to Wedgewood Drive by November 7th.

PAVILION RENTALS

There are two pavilions available for rent at Municipal Park for individuals and organizations alike. Each pavilion is the same size and equipped with electricity. Pavilion #1 has a large stone charcoal grill inside. Pavilion #2 has a small charcoal grill that sits outside and is closest to the rest rooms, basketball courts and playground. The Municipal park is open from dawn until dusk. Other parks in Caln Township are open to the public on a first come, first serve basis.

Fees to rent a pavilion are as follows:

Township Resident $40.00

Non-Resident $80.00

Business / Organization $100.00 per diem *

Businesses/Organizations of Caln Township may choose to pay an annual fee of $350 to rent multiple times per year. The fee for businesses outside of Caln Township would be $400 annually.

Note: Groups of 100 or more are required to rent both pavilions.

All pavilion rental fees are Non-Refundable.

The Park and Recreation Department requires a security deposit of $100 from each individual or group renting pavilions in Municipal Park. The security deposit will be refunded to renter after the park is inspected for damage.
